Om webinaret: ”WHO guideline for non-surgical management of chronic primary low back pain in adults in primary and community care settings”.
The focus of the presentation will provide an overview of the newly published WHO guidelines for chronic low back pain. The context, development and utility of clinical guidelines will be briefly discussed alongside reflections on clinical care pathways and opportunities to enhance collaborative care. Practical elements will be included to enable participants to reflect interactively on elements of the presented topics.

Om Steven: "Steven Vogel is Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University College of Osteopathy. He practiced in the UK National Health Service in primary care for over 20 years alongside working in research, educational and clinical management. Steven has sat on two Guideline Development Groups for The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and for the National Clinical Pathway for Back Pain in the UK and has recently been an expert reviewer of the WHO back pain guideline. He has published research with interprofessional colleagues on a range of MSK and manual therapy related issues.
Current interests include evidence informed practice, communication and consent, adverse events and interprofessional conceptions of manual therapy. He is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine, President of the Society for Back Pain Research, a Trustee of the National Council for Osteopathic Research and the United Kingdom Spine Societies Board."
